1984 - 1985
1984 – Corey Hart’s “Sunglasses at Night” enters Billboard’s Top 10 – the first Aquarius act to do so. The follow-up, “It Ain’t Enough”, also is an international hit and Corey quickly goes Gold. On the April Wine front, the band records “Animal Grace” and embarks on its final Canadian tour. The band also records “One for the Road”, a final live album. By the end of the year, Myles Goodwyn and Brian Greenway comprise what’s left of April Wine.
1985 – Corey Hart records and releases “Boy in the Box”. The album includes what would become Corey’s biggest hit single, “Never Surrender”. The BIYB album would go on to sell a million copies in Canada alone - in fact, in one 16 month period beginning in 1985, Corey sells over 1,500,000 records.
